As the field labor force for C.T. Taylor Company, Structural Building Systems (SBS) has gained solid, proven experience and certifications in various field. As an AISC certified steel erector, they have joined an exclusive group of professionals with this designation. This certification is recognized nationwide and includes continual monitoring of quality and workmanship, as well as continual education and ongoing auditing by the AISC inspectors. Craftsman in carpentry, concrete and structural steel are added to a diverse workforce including laborers, welders and equipment operators. As a merit shop company, who also performs on prevailing wage projects, the advantages for diversity under a single labor force is tremendous.
As equipment is needed during the construction project, C.T. Leasing provides this for C.T. Taylor, either with the diverse amount of owned and maintained equipment or by outsourcing it for specialty needs. Owned equipment ranges from concrete buggies and ride on trowel machines, to scissor and boom lifts and hydraulic cranes. This equipment is serviced and maintained by a staff under the direction of Dan Villers, chief mechanic. Between the service bays and the specially equipped maintenance truck, if this equipment should have a malfunction or breakdown, the project’s downtime is minimized.
